Swimming Pool

Location: Behind the Somerset Clubhouse

The swimming pools are located behind the clubhouse at 8800 Somerset Drive.

Pool Hours

Saturday          10:00am � 9:00pm
Sunday          12:00pm � 7:00pm
*Monday     10:00am � 8:00pm
*Tuesday     10:00am � 8:00pm
*Wednesday     10:00am � 8:00pm
*Thursday     10:00am � 8:00pm
*Friday          10:00am � 9:00pm

*When public school is in session the weekday hours will be 4:00pm � 8:00pm. This is necessary due to limited availability of lifeguards when school is in session.

Pool Rules
State mandated pool rules are posted at the pool and should be reviewed with all members of your household prior to the start of the pool season. In addition�

No glass of any kind
No running or horseplay
One person on the slide and slide ladder at a time
Do not slide until the roped off area is clear of swimmers
Do not converse with the lifeguards while on duty
No Diving
No exceptionally large floats - guards cannot see children behind and underneath them.
Pay attention to the Lifeguards - follow directions
No hard balls, skate board, roller blades etc. on the pool deck
No animals in the pool or on the pool deck
No person with skin, eye, ear or nasal infections allowed in the pool.
No alcohol
No water guns

Somerset Pool Policies

Guests
Guest must sign in with the guards each time they enter the pool. Guests must be accompanied by a homeowner and are to remain in the company of the homeowner at all times.

Diaper Policy
Any child still wearing diapers must wear a snug fitting reusable swim diaper with rubber or plastic lining and elastic at the leg and waist. Disposable swim diapers must be covered with a snug fitting plastic or rubber pant with elastic at the legs and waist. Regular diapers cannot be worn in the pool as they will disintegrate and clog the filters. If you child has an accident please notify the guards immediately. Compliance with this policy will minimize pool closing and offer a safe, healthy environment.

Adult Swim
Adult swim will be held once every hour for a period of ten minutes. During this time neither the Pool Manager nor the Lifeguards will be on duty. Children must remain out of the swimming pool and under adult supervision.

Age Restriction
Children under the age of 10 must be with an adult when at the pool. Children under 6 may use the baby pool. Older children ages 6 and up are too big for the baby pool and must use the main pool. Please do not allow your older children to use the baby pool during adult swim. Babysitters bringing children under 11 must be 16 years old and must let the sign in guard know that they are babysitting.

Pool Passes
Pool passes are usually sent out in May to all residents current with their homeowner�s dues. Residents are required to show their pass with each entry to the pool. Please bring it with you every time.
